Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh looks set to have some new input in his attacking line up for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Swaziland.
Scoops as reported by Complete Sports from the yet to be released 24-man list suggest that the duo of Obafemi Martins and Kelechi Iheanacho will be invited for the November tie.
If indeed he makes the cut, it will mean that Martins will be staging a comeback to the national team after a two-year hiatus which has been filled with splendid performances for his MLS club Seattle Sounders where he has risen to be a club legend in a short time.
It is expected that in all, Coach Oliseh will be inviting 18 foreign-based players and Eight home-based players led by the Sunshine Stars of Akure duo of Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Tunde Adeniyi will be joined by ChimaAkas, Austin Oboriakpo and Gbolahan Salami.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Swaziland at the Somhlolo National Stadium in Lobamba, in their 2018 FIFA World Cup African Round 2 first leg tie, the Nigeria Football Federation have confirmed.
The NFF also revealed that the second leg will be taking place in Port Harcourt on November 17, four days after the first leg in Lobamba.
The Swaziland Football Association has also fixed the match to start at 7pm Swazi time (6pm Nigeria time) at the 20,000-capacity Somhlolo Stadium, which is an all-standing arena.
