The Black Stars of Ghana will open their training camp in Accra on Monday evening for the 2017 African Nations Cup qualifying fixtures against Mozambique according to a statement on the FA’s official website.
Ghana will host the first of the two back-to-back matches at the Accra Stadium on Thursday March 24 at 3:30pm. The return leg is scheduled for Maputo three days later.
Ghana head coach Coach Avram Grant invited 23 players including home-based players Samuel Tetteh of WAFA and Wa All Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori in the squad which began arriving in camp on Sunday.
With some of the players already in the country, the team is expecting Jeffrey Schlupp, Jordan Ayew, Ebenezer Assifuah and the Italy-based players to arrive in camp before Monday’s training session which will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium at 4pm.
Ghana are top of Group H with six points from the two matches in the group.
