Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney has reportedly missed training again as he remains doubtful for England’s European Cup qualification fixtures.
Rooney was absent from England training for the second day running as doubts intensify over whether he will be fit to face Estonia on Friday.
Rooney missed out along with Danny Ings and Jonjo Shelvey at St George’s Park on Wednesday.

But whether Rooney, who did bike work in the gym, will be fit to face Estonia remains to be seen with the Football Association speaking to Manchester United over his injury and England coach Roy Hodgson unlikely to take any risks.
Vice-captain Gary Cahill is in line to stand in if Rooney misses out, and Everton’s England U17 midfielder Tom Davies joined in the session.
