The Kenya national team Harambee Stars left for Zambia on Thursday 1 September for the team’s dead rubber 2017 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Chipolopolo scheduled for Sunday 4 September at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Head coach Stanley Okumbi picked a team of 20 players for the assignment, but once again Brighton Albion forward Jonah Ayunga was left behind as he had a problem with his passport.
Spain based Ismael Gonzalez and England based Josh Lelan were selected in the traveling team; Gonzalez having been an unused substitute in the friendly game against Uganda.
