West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has revealed that recuperating Nigerian forward, Victor Moses is on the verge of returning to action following his hamstring injury.
The Hammers have been heavily depleted owing to plenty of injury problems this season with key men out of action during recent months.
Chelsea man Moses, who is on a season-long loan at Upton Park, has not played since the start of December, but Bilic is confident the winger will be available for Saturday’s clash against Newcastle.
“We have Victor Moses, he started to train the day before Bournemouth with the team so he is available and trained today,” Bilic said.
“Tomorrow we will see what shape he is in for Saturday”.
” Cheikhou Kouyate missed Tuesday’s win at Bournemouth and last weekend’s FA Cup third-round victory over Wolves with a knock although he should also be back to take on the Magpies. Bilic added:
“He missed the game with Bournemouth and he was 50/50. He is a very physical player and he plays basically all the games for us so we opted to rest him a bit to give him a few days to come back 100 per cent.”
