The Rwandan government has waived visa fees for nationals of participating countries at the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
This means that fans from all 16 countries participating in the 2016 CHAN tournament can easily travel to Rwanda to watch the games without having to pay for visa fees.
This much has been made known by the Rwandan government through the tournament’s Local Organizing Committee.
“Rwanda has waived visa fees for all nationals of countries that will compete at #CHAN2016. Welcome Africa!” the official twitter handle of the Rwanda 2016 tournament said.
The tournament starts on January 16 with hosts Rwanda taking on Cote d’Ivoire in the first game of the tournament.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria, meanwhile, will kick-start their campaign two days later against neighbours, Niger Republic.
