Manchester City attacker Kelechi Iheanacho won’t be asking for more playing time from manager Manuel Pellegrini despite his impressive displays so far, so says the player himself.
The 19-year old has impressed for City this season and already has five goals to his name but he is yet to be a guaranteed starter for the club.
Speaking to City’s official website, Iheanacho says he must keep learning and working hard, but won’t necessarily be asking for more playing time.
“Not really because as a young player you have to work hard in every training session and if you are given the chance to play you have to show the manager that you deserve to be in.
“I think nothing is enough in football. I will keep working hard, I will keep giving my best every day and in every game.
“Every day I will keep learning from the professionals in my team.”
He has played a total of 15 games in all competitions for City, mostly coming off the bench, and has five goals to his credit.
