The Head Coach of the Nigeria U23, Samson Siasia has confessed that he is expecting a tough duel against North African giants this weekend.
The Dream Team VI are in a dicey situation as they go into the final group game against the Algerians.
“It will be a tough battle against Algeria, and we have to be careful about the North African sides, they attack left and right” Siasia stated as he took stock of his team’s outing against another North African opposition in Egypt.
Algeria are top in Group B going into the last set of game and would be comfortable to play against Nigeria.
On the part of the Dream Team VI, an outright win will be the best bet but a draw can also be enough depending on the outcome of the other group tie between Egypt and Mali.
The top three teams from the Africa U 23 Championships in Senegal will earn the right to fly Africa’s flag at the men’s football event at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
