Black Stars coach Avram Grant is concerned with the impact of Chelsea benching Abdul Baba Rahman.
The 21-year-old has only played seven games so far in England, and this could negatively effect his development for the Ghana national team.
“Baba Rahman until now was playing well when he joined Chelsea,” Grant told the media in Accra.
“But you have to understand that he is young and this is his first year in the Premier League. It is not easy to play in the Premier League and I see that he has played some games but I don’t know what is happening there.
“I’m not happy about this situation but you have to know it is not easy for him,” he added.
Rahman has to compete with Caesar Azpilicueta and Kennedy in Jose Mourinho’s team, as he knew before joining Chelsea that competition will be stiff in London.
