Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen is confident of a win against Chelsea in the London Derby on Sunday.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men are rated as favourites for this tie as they have picked up seven points from a possible nine in their last three matches while Chelsea won their first game in the Premier League against Norwich 1-0 last week after three consecutive defeats.
However, Eriksen is wary of their London rivals and has warned that the White Hart Lane side must play a perfect game against the Blues.
“Everybody likes to play in derbies, they are more intense than other games and it’s always nice to play in matches like that, but you always have to be wary of Chelsea – no matter what position they are in,” the Dane told the club’s website.
“Chelsea have quality all over the pitch – we know that and there’s nothing new about it. We have to make sure we don’t make any mistakes, keep ourselves in the game for as long as possible, keep it tight and then assert our own game plan.
“Everyone is really happy and going for it at the moment. We all have the confidence to play some good football and that’s what we want to do every time we play.”
Tottenham Hotspurs are unbeaten in their last 12 Premier League matches with the only defeat of the season so far coming against Manchester United on the opening day.
